This was a recently discovered gem, sent by our good friend Ben Domanico. This was taken when I was briefly on display at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. The reaction was not quite what we had hoped for, but a proud moment none the less.

Hellow internet and friends, I'm back from a long journey from the land of the Maya - Guatemala.

This was, of course, a facetastic opportunity to flex the art and keep my abilities on my toes. Foes.

However, I didn't really capture myself facing against the backdrop of anything stunning or wonderful, but I hope these images can inspire you to face well and face often, even in the face of adversity.

It is always a challenge to Face appropriately whilst shielding the eyes. For me, my eyebrows are a major character in my facial discourse, so this one was quite a challenge for me.

All of that is in the giant internet-technology-god-mind-brain-globalunification-computer-network device, just waiting for someone to find. Or use.

Anyway, I did find a stupendous face-off of Sally and I from some party in South Carolina a year and some change ago. Notice I am in a superhero costume AND a windbreaker. Thank you very much.

Flog (Face Blog)

Greetings fellow persons. You have come to Das Flog. "So what is Das Flog?" you may ask yourself, and in response we may tell you that it is, in the simplest term available at hand, "a Blog of Faces. A Face Blog: Flog." Simply put, this blog, or "flog", is a place to openly discuss the important issues of life, without any verbal discussion. A forum for those interested to pour their hearts and souls into cyberspace through open facial discourse, or what we here at Das Flog have come to term "Facing".

So what is "facing"? "Facing" is, as we define it, the pure and unadulterated exertion of energy through facial contortion and rearrangement; i.e. making ridiculous faces.
It is not just a means of personal expression, but an outlet of pure spiritual force, in that if we all "face" each other, regardless of race, gender, religion, or politics, we all have the ability to look equally ridiculous, and in turn, equally amazing.

In conclusion, this "flog" is not a mere venue of face-petition, but an open forum, aimed at uniting the world through the common glory of facial contortion. So kick off your shoes, grab a frosty brew, and prepare to suck your face as far as you can into the center of your head...and take several photographs of it...and promptly send them our way.
